My Name is David Urresti Chiu, I´m 28 years old and I´m from Mexico,
a beautiful country with great culture and friendly people.

Since I was child I´ve liked the computers, I was doing my first motion
graphics with my Commodore 64 (mm..very old times). Also I like the
movies, so one day I watched “Jurasic Park” and “Toy Story”, ooohh !!
  I was impressive, it was when I thought :
 “I want to do that !! mmm....I hope, one day”.

Unfortunately in Mexico, we have no animation school, so I needed to study something with some relation, such as Design or Computer Engineer,
so I decided the second.
After the university I had the opportunity to go to Vancouver, Canada
to study English and one small Maya Course at Vancouver Film School,
even though it was a little time I learned a lot, but anyway mainly I´ve been
teaching animation my self.

I´ve worked in Mexico and Japan as a freelance. Even though I like several
areas of CG I have decided to concentrate and focus my profession in Character Animation, so here we are !, it´s really fun and exciting.

My goal is to work in a cool animation studio and make the people enjoy
with my animation.

Well, you can find here samples of my work, I´m trying to present them
no just like exercises clips, therefore some of them have story and
my characters have profile and background.
